I was visiting europe and my friend gave me a short walkthrough Bunq. It seems pretty awesome, users get options to open multiple bank accounts and manage their money accordingly, the cards look great, the web interface has login via QR code and looks good, and they have all the modern bank features. Users can also do ethical investments from within the app and there's much more that the app does.
So I was wondering if anyone can recommend something similar in UK.
I know Monzo has savings pots, but doesn't seem like the same. It has lots of good features too, but I think they missed the trick with branding, Monzo Plus cards look terrible and Monzo Plus doesn't really justify monthly payments.
Never used Starling, could use more information from community on that one.
Revolut has the most features in my opinion, but it feels like the app is trying to do too much too fast and it's not as cleaner. The news about how their employees are overworked and the overall work culture is makes me nervous about them.
N26 seems to be a great option with spaces, but again never used them really, could use more information from the community on this one too.
Now sometimes I use Revolut for travel, and I used Monzo during their prepaid card days.
P.S : I don't mind paying a fixed monthly fee if I get good value and features from my Bank 😃
